The Tenmoku is our most flexible wedding offering, designed for couples who want to host a full celebration that unfolds from morning into the evening.

This package offers exclusive use of Oxcombe’s ceremony spaces, gardens and traditional events barns, giving you the freedom to shape the day around your guests, your suppliers and your vision.

The Ceremony

Your ceremony can take place in All Saints Church or within the garden ceremony area, depending on your preference and the season.The church is heated and available for weddings all year round.

The church is licensed for civil ceremonies and seats up to 28 guests, creating an intimate and meaningful setting for the ceremony itself. Garden ceremonies offer an open-air alternative, with views across the estate and surrounding countryside.

Drinks, Reception & Celebration

Following the ceremony, guests are welcomed to enjoy the grounds, with drinks typically served on the front lawns before moving into the barns for the rest of the evening.

This package includes exclusive use of both event barns:

• The Cowshed Events Barn

• The Crewyard Art Barn

Together, these spaces allow for a natural flow from drinks to dining, dancing and an evening party, with flexibility around layout, atmosphere and timing.

Unlike our smaller packages, guest numbers for the reception and evening celebration can extend beyond the cap of 35 guests, making this package suitable for larger gatherings later in the day.

Food & Drink (Dry Hire)

The Tenmoku is offered on a dry-hire basis.

Food and drink are not included, allowing you to choose caterers that suit your style of celebration - from formal sit-down dining to relaxed sharing menus or food trucks. We can provide a recommended supplier list covering a range of catering styles and budgets. Your caterers are able to use our on site kitchen facilities for preparing food and with agreement our Oxcombe glassware, crockery and cutlery range too.

Guests supply their own alcohol, which is served by caterers using Oxcombe glassware. Drinks can be delivered in advance and stored on site, with the option to hire the horse box bar as an additional feature.

Atmosphere & Styling

Seasonal, rustic floral arrangements are provided in the ceremony and event spaces, using locally sourced flowers and Oxcombe’s own vases. Couples are welcome to bring their own and additional flowers or small decorative touches if they wish, by prior arrangement.

The barns are prepared as warm, welcoming spaces, with soft lighting and candlelight creating an intimate atmosphere as the day moves into evening. Couples are welcome to bring additional styling elements or décor for the events barns and gardens by prior arrangement.

A Day With Room to Breathe

The Tenmoku is for couples who want time - time to gather, eat, celebrate and dance - without being constrained by a shorter schedule. It offers the greatest freedom to shape the flow of the day, while retaining the character and calm of Oxcombe as a setting.

Dry hire from £3,500

Pricing varies depending on guest numbers and the spaces used. A booking deposit is required to secure your date, with full details provided on enquiry.
