The Celadon - An intimate way to be married at Oxcombe.

The Celadon is designed for couples who want a simple, meaningful ceremony in a beautiful setting, without the structure of a full reception. It is intentionally calm, unhurried and intimate - focused on the moment itself and the surroundings that frame it.

The Ceremony

Ceremonies take place either inside All Saints Church or outdoors in the garden ceremony area, depending on your preference and the season (the church is available all year round and is heated). Both settings offer a sense of privacy and quiet, surrounded by the wider Oxcombe estate and countryside.

Bot the church and garden are licensed for civil ceremonies and accommodates up to 28 guests, creating a close, personal atmosphere. During the warmer months, the garden offers a relaxed alternative beneath open skies with views over the rolling hills.

Flowers & Styling

Simple, rustic, seasonal flower arrangements are provided for the ceremony space. These are designed to complement the setting rather than overwhelm it, using locally sourced foliage and flowers arranged in Oxcombe’s own vases.

Couples are welcome to bring additional flowers or small decorative touches if they wish, by prior arrangement.

Photographs & Grounds

After the ceremony, couples and guests are welcome to use the main garden areas for photographs. The combination of the church, gardens and surrounding landscape provides a timeless rural backdrop for relaxed, natural images.

Practical Details

• Maximum of 28 guests for the ceremony, plus the couple and registrars / celebrants

• Access provided for the agreed ceremony and photography period of three hours

• Couple only ceremonies welcomed (i.e. no guests)

A booking deposit is required to secure your date, with the balance due ahead of the ceremony.
